Leo Hanna
Leo is a graduate from The Three Year Bachelor in Acting (Hons) Course at The Lir Academy (2020).
Leo is currently playing the role of Jerry Devine in JUNO AND THE PAYCOCK opposite Mark Rylance and J. Smith-Cameron and directed by Matthew Warchus on London's West End.
Recent theatre credits include THE GIGGLER TREATMENT by Roddy Doyle which received 5 Star Reviews and he recently played the role of Tenor in the Irish Premiere of MASTER CLASS produced by Once Off Productions at Smock Alley Theatre. Leo also wrote and performed in LET’S TRY SWINGIN’ which premiered at Scene and Heard Festival earlier this year (2024).
Leo appeared on big screens in the role of 'Ponytail' in blockbuster feature COCAINE BEAR directed by Elizabeth Banks for Universal Pictures playing opposite Margo Martindale and featuring Keri Russell and Ray Liotta.
Recent film credits include JOYRIDE opposite Olivia Colman directed by Emer Reynolds and the role of ‘Fergus’ in feature film ABOUT JOAN directed by Laurent Larivière alongside Freya Mavor and also starring Isabelle Huppert. It will premiere at The Berlin Film Festival as part of the Special Gala Programme in February 2022.
Leo also recently filmed the role of 'Almost Out' in feature film WOLF directed by Nathalie Biancheri for Feline Films opposite George Mackay, Paddy Considine and Lily-Rose Depp which premiered at TIFF in 2021.
