Jack Meade
Jack will play the role of Stanley in A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE for Once Off Productions directed by Cathal Cleary at Smock Alley Theatre this Christmas.
Recent stage credits include the role of Gerry Evans in The Gate Theatre production of DANCING AT LUGHNASA directed by Caroline Byrne.
Recent screen credits include the role of Lord Withersea in CW Series SHERLOCK AND DAUGHTER; Miguel in Season 2 of Netflix series WARRIOR NUN; Wayne Madigan in Season 2 of RTE/AMC series KIN; Jason in the feature film TWIG directed by Marian Quinn and Eddie in the feature film BALTIMORE directed by Joe Lawlor and Christine Molloy playing opposite Imogen Poots.
He recently played Toke in Vikings prequel series VIKINGS: VALHALLA for Netflix.
Since completing his two years training in the Gaiety School of Acting he has appeared in the roles of Albany/Cornwall and Oswald in KING LEAR and the role of Macduff in MACBETH for the Shakespeare for Schools programme.
Theatre credits include Don John in Rough Magic's production of MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING directed by Ronan Phelan, IN OUR VEINS by Lee Coffey for Bitter Like A Lemon at the Peacock Theatre, Cillian in Clare Monnelly's play MINEFIELD for the Dublin Fringe Festival, Ffolliet in THE SHAUGHRAN directed by Claire Maguire, ACRONUMB in the Scene and Heard Festival and TRUE PIRATES NEVER DIE written by Lee Coffey and directed by Aoife Spillane-Hinks all at Smock Alley Theatre.
Jack is a member of the theatre company, Bitter Like a Lemon and has a huge interest in writing, devising and physical theatre.
He has appeared on screen in short films, THE RING directed by Laura Way for Bodecci Film and ECHO directed by Peter James Melrose for PJM Productions.
He also starred in the Walking On Cars music video for their single, MONSTER.
Jack is based in Dublin.
