Siobhán Callaghan

 

Siobhán Callaghan is a Dublin-based actor, writer and theatre maker; since receiving a BA in Acting from The Lir Academy in 2018, Siobhán has worked consistently across various artistic sectors.

Screen credits include the role of Cadlín in VIKINGS: VALHALLA for Netflix/MGM, Sal in  QUICKSAND directed by Pollyanna McIntosh, Tar in  DIRTY TALK directed by Eva Wyse, Jill in  FAKING IT directed by Roisin Dunk, Sarah in HOLIDAY HOME directed by Conor Kind,  and Sarah in POLAROID directed by Richard Harvey.

On stage, she appeared in HOME directed by Andrea Ainsworth for the Abbey Theatre, SHORT STORIES & LONG TAILS directed by Andy Crook for Longford County Council, MADE FROM PAPER directed by Nessa Matthews for Scene & Heard, THE VALLEY OF THE SQUINTING WINDOWS directed by Michael Scott for Dublin City Theatre, KISSING THE WITCH and TRAVESTY for Corps Ensemble, MOOP and STOP/OVER for Dublin Fringe Festival.

 

In 2022, Siobhán had her own short film QUICKSAND produced by Carbonated Comet and directed by Pollyanna McIntosh. It is currently in post-production. Siobhán is presently working on a screen adaptation of Lorna Byrne’s best-selling book “Angels in My Hair” which is set to begin production in December 2022.
