Philip O'Sullivan

 

Philip is a well-established Irish actor from Dublin.

 

Philip's forthcoming projects include the role of Peter Bacon in Conall Morrison's two-part drama for TV3, THE BAILOUT, the role of Colonel Creal in INSPECTOR JURY 4 for ZDF Germany and the feature film THE PROFESSOR AND THE MANDMAN, directed by Farhad Safinia in which he plays the role of Prosecutor Denman alongside Natalie Dormer, Mel Gibson and Sean Penn. He also recently completed a run of performances as Archbishop/High Inquisitor in  ST. JOAN by George Bernard Shaw, directed by Jimmy Fay for the Lyric Theatre, Belfast,

 

Philip previously worked with director Jimmy Fay on Landmark Production's stage adaptations of Paul Howard's Ross O'Carroll Kelly book series, in which Philip was cast in the role of Charles O'Carroll Kelly - LAST DAYS OF THE CELTIC TIGER, BETWEEN FOXROCK AND A HARD PLACE and most recently BREAKING DAD.

Film and television credits includes the regular role of Bishop Edmund in History's VIKINGS, the role of Citadel Maester on season 7 of the HBO series GAME OF THRONES, the role of Tom Sarsfield in Ireland's longest running soap FAIR CITY, the acclaimed Showtime/BBC series THE TUDORS, ALBERT NOBBS directed by Rodrigo García, THE TIGER'S TAIL directed by John Boorman, PURE MULE directed by Charlie McCarthy & Kevin Recks, SHOWBANDS AND SHOWBANDS II directed by Ian Fitzgibbon and Joel Schumacher’s VERONICA GUERIN in which he played the role of Brian.
